Before and After: Kinnaman Gardens

I had the honor of prepping this family home for market. I was incredibly lucky to work with clients who had taken such great care of their home (and garden WOW) so when I came in to help we got to focus on the fun finishing touches. We called the home Kinnaman Gardens because of the incredible half acre garden. This home was lovingly cared for since the 1970s by the same owner, and just needed freshening up to make it shine. We updated the paint colors inside and out, changed light fixtures, and staged. Boy what a difference it made! This gallery has my best attempt at before and after photos.

Staging by the talented Jica Interiors.

We had the house painted in Sherwin Williams Rosemary, with Iron Ore Trim and an Earthen Jug front door. On the inside of the home we used Sherwin Williams Pure White and Grizzle Gray for the accent wall.

We also got to do something really special for the former owner. I commissioned Caitlyn Henning, aka @little.hen to make a garden map that we included with the listing. The home has an incredible garden that meant a lot to the family who sold the home, so making this keepsake was very special for everyone.

And yes, it went well. The home went pending the first weekend it was on the market, and sold $100,000 over our asking price.
