Honeymoon Road Trip Week 1

August 11th - Mike and I left Portland for our van trip honeymoon. This was a first for us — we aren’t avid campers, we don’t own a van, we have never been to Wyoming… the list of first goes on. Being a unique climate to take a vacation we had a lot to be nervous about, but we set off with open minds, clear eyes, and a sense of adventure.

What were the biggest lessons I learned from this trip? If you can be adaptable you can find joy in unexpected places. I was wrong a lot about what made me happy or uncomfortable, so why try to predict that and stop myself before trying something new.
